Asok Station, Light Green Line, BTS Sky Train. I kept on memorizing the
landmark and the stations. Bangkok has a good train system, but for a cost. I
realized that it’s cheaper to travel around the city via cab if you’re in a
group of four. But then we had to try the efficient train system of the city.
We walked a few blocks and reached Four Points by Sheraton along Sukhumvit 15,
our home for three days.
Trying out the efficient train system of Bangkok |
It was a busy day for the hotel; people checking in and out dominated
the spacious lobby. We settled on a seating area where the tempting smell of
popcorn allured us. We, of course, went to the popcorn maker and a staff immediately
assisted us and shoveled four cupfuls of popcorn treats after which, we were
assisted at the front desk for the check-in process.

And then the en suite toilet and bathroom. I couldn’t help myself but just admire the lovely bathroom which has its own bath tub (I actually used it), separate shower area and toiletries which are all provided for. The bathroom has a sliding window that opens up to the room. It just feels so nice to have this open feel to it (especially if you’re on a honeymoon).
Moving on, we checked out our room next. We also had the same room type
(Comfort room) but with just one huge king-size bed. It has all the same
amenities and features but was more compact than the other room. The nice touch
of turquoise made the room very charming (I adore blue).

I immediately went to the bathroom and tried opening the sliding window
which revealed the nice view of the room. And then the bubble bath.

I wasted almost an hour or so just soaking myself into the tub. It was
actually my first time to try out a bath tub in a hotel. Usually, I don’t have
much time to spare. It was relaxing and soothing. I might do this often during
hotel stays.
We checked out the other areas inside the hotel afterwards; the Business
Center, Beer Vault, a cool meeting and event room and the swimming pool at the
roof deck.
We headed to The Eatery after we got up where the complimentary buffet
breakfast was served (6:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. on weekdays | 6:30 a.m. – 11:00
a.m. on weekends). Asian and Continental dishes were served to our heart’s
desire into this cool and funky restaurant. The use of orange and red as accent
colors to the walls and comfy chairs added a vibrant feel to it.
